What do you need to get married in Florence?
First of all you need to get your marriage license. You can go to any county probate court in the state, and then use that license anywhere in the state to get married. In Florence (and Florence County), you can go to the Probate Court to obtain your license. See their website, Florence County Probate Court, for all the details. Once you get your license you can use it in Florence or anywhere else in the State of SC to get married.
After you get your license, then all you need is someone to officiate the marriage and sign the paperwork. No witnesses are required in SC. You don’t even have to have a ceremony if you don’t wish. Just get the paperwork completed. if you want a ceremony, then you need to think about your vows.

Our Fees
For the Florence, SC area my fee is $150 to perform a wedding ceremony. If you are having a large wedding the fee is $175 because I have to get there at least an hour early.
